Good packaging protects against moisture, impact, tangling and identification errors. A strong carton alone is not enough; spool support, barrier film, label and reopening method must all work.

Protection layers

  • Spool retention and cushioning.
  • Moisture barrier and desiccant.
  • Label and barcode.
  • Carton and pallet strength.

Transport test

Check drop, stacking and humidity exposure. The spool should not shift or cut the bag, and the label must remain readable.

Use after opening

  • Resealable structure.
  • Visible lot and date.
  • Separable materials.

Common engineering mistakes

  • Designing only the carton.
  • Using a fragile bag.
  • No batch code.
  • Loose spool.
  • Cannot reseal.

Buyer checklist

  • Is the barrier intact?
  • Is the spool fixed?
  • Is the label traceable?
  • Does the carton survive stacking?
  • Can the user reseal it?
